President’s Message – November 2016

At our recent board meeting we discussed all the capital improvement projects that have
been accomplished this year, in addition to countless improvements tackled within the resort
operating budget. Every owner should be excited and thankful for the incredible progress over the
past year in making the resort a place that you are proud to call your home away from home! Be
sure to check out the accomplishments at the resort for 2016 and what we have planned for 2017 on
the back page.

Last year a new management agreement was negotiated in an effort to continue the
cohesive, positive and mutually beneficial relationship we have achieved between our association
and management company. As part of our agreement the Board of Directors agreed to raise
maintenance fees by 6% for three years to show the association’s commitment to resort
improvement. The management company reduced it’s fees so the resort could put more funds into
capital improvements. This year is the second year of the agreement. These increases are essential
in keeping our vision of a world class resort alive and will help ensure that every owner has a
positive vacation experience at our resort. It is also important to note that our assessments remain
under the average assessment fees for the Tahoe basin.
